HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE 2015 - There will be an open meeting in the Church this Saturday, April 12  at 10.15 am to explore the possibility of a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in October 2015. Do come along to find out more, there is no commitment at this stage and brochures will be available to take and read
SOUPER LENT SATURDAYS:  The last of the lent Lunches is this Saturday, April 12 in Church from 12.00 - 1.30 pm for a choice of homemade soup & roll plus hot cross buns and tea or coffee. There will be choice of soups but on a first come first served basis - once they've gone, they've gone!
ANYTHING TO SWAP?:. This Saturday, April 12  Home-grown veg and home made produce may be swapped at the March Hare on  the second Saturday in the month, from 3.00 pm – 5.00 pm. . Veg for Jam?, Could be eggs for cake, cake for plums, plums for jam, Exchange recipes or useful growing / baking cooking hints and tips. Just pop in and see what is on offer.
DUNTON GARDEN: The AGM takes place this Saturday, April 12 at  2 pm in  The village Hall.  It  will be followed by a talk from a representative of the Sunnyside Rural Trust – an inspiring organisation that offers work experience in various aspects of horticulture to adults with learning disabilities. They operate from three sites in south-west Hertfordshire, and sell their produce through their own farm shop. There will be the usual delicious home-made cakes and tea/coffee. All welcome.
PALM SUNDAY SERVICE:  On Palm Sunday (April 13) there is a Benefice Pilgrimage between the three Churches.  It starts outside Dunton Church at 9.30 for the distribution of palms then walks to Eyeworth Village Hall for the next part of the service at about 10.30 am then onto Wrestlingworth Church for the Pilgrimage Eucharist. A picnic lunch will be held after the service at Wrestlingworth.  Take a packed picnic lunch to the starting point and this will be taken to Wrestlingworth for you. If you would like to go but cannot walk then lifts will be available please contact the Churchwarden (Shirley Tant 01767 316948).
DUNTON, SUTTON & EYEWORTH OVER 60'S CLUB:  The A.G.M is being held at the Pavilion Dunton next Monday, April 14 at 3.30 pm. All welcome. This is your chance to vote on the committee, organise trips for the coming season and chat to other members. Refreshments will be provided. If you would like to become a member please go along and see what is on offer.

DUNTON WI:  You are invited to a presentation on the Coats and Capes of Westminster on Friday, May 16 at 7.45pm, in the Church. Tickets are £6 and include a glass of wine and nibbles. This event is open to husbands and partners.

HOLY WEEK SERVICES: Tuesday, April 15 - 7.00 pm Compline.  Maundy Thursday, April 17 - 7.30 pm The Lord's Supper Benefice Eucharist at Dunton followed by 'The Watch' a time of quietness in Church until 9.00 pm.  Good Friday 18 - 2.00 pm Holy Hour Benefice Service at Dunton.
SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICE: Easter Day -  9.30am Easter ceremonies and Parish Eucharist.
